Tubecon manufactures and supplies various steel tubes and open profiles into the South African market. Popular round, square and rectangular steel tubes are rolled and stocked at our branches in Cape Town and Pretoria. Standard stock lengths on the majority of steel tubes are 6 meter lengths. Some application specific steel sections are stocked in different lengths. These include Conveyor Tubes (7.32 m), D-Sections (6.4m) and electrical conduit (4m). Standard sized lip channels are stocked in 6 meter and 9.145 meter lengths.
Though these are an indication to our standard stock lengths; round, square and rectangle steel tubes as well as lip channels and open profiles can be rolled to size or cut to length for the customer.
The green fields in the tables indicate the typical popular sizes of steel tubes that Tubecon manufacture. The tables are not an indication of our technical limits so please enquire with our sales staff should your desired size not be listed or not fall on a green field.
