Material properties
Tubecon manufactures tubing from a variety of steel grades. Most grades are common mild steels but high strength materials and lightly alloyed materials are also possible.
The attachment below is an overview of the properties of some common steel grades used by Tubecon in the manufacturing of cold formed hollow sections and open sections. The material grades are according to the SANS specification.
